Guitar solo - Siddhi Music Publications

Johann Sebastian Bach's wonderful suites for cello solo are a rich source to draw from. Here is the first cello suite, BWV 1007, arranged for guitar. Mostly this suite is played in D major, but here it is made in the original key, G major, which sounds very good, since the instrument's fundamental tone is G.

The bagatelles are small pieces of widely different characters. Here are elements of pop, gospel, jazz, as well as impressionism and other classical traditions. Everyone is tonal and fairly easy-going, with a melodic simplicity and subtlety that appeals.

A new composition of the outstanding composer Mats Åkerlund. A very own tongue, full of humor and tenderness.

The beautiful and spiritual "Estudio Brillante", which many believe was written by Francisco Tarrega, is actually a much longer etude for violin, written by Delphin Alard. The piece as a whole is at least as beautiful as Tarrega's excerpt and definitely an exciting challenge for all guitarists.
